Ryan stated that the office increased efforts to combat the drug epidemic by implementing the Law Enforcement Treatment Initiative, which provided free treatment to those with substance use disorders but went after high-level drug traffickers who push this poison in our county.

We also successfully prosecuted those who committed domestic violence and sexual assaults, solved murders, and obtained numerous convictions for complex white-collar cases in which defendants stole millions of dollars from people who trusted them. Additionally, numerous illegal firearms were successfully removed from the street by law enforcement.

The purpose of these awards is to recognize those individuals for their bravery and dedication.
